Our innovative Track Worker Protection App could fully convince the judges of the App Contest of the IEEE Vehicular Networking Conference (VNC 2016) in Columbus, OH, USA, and was awarded the winner of the contest in a very competitive field.
After a pre-selection based on a fully anonymous review process, a final round of 6 teams have been invited to demonstrate their app on stage at the conference. All apps were evaluated against the criteria creativity and innovation; potential value; technical depth; completeness; and User Interface/User Experience. Having seen a live demo of our app, the judges gave it the highest marks and awarded it the overall winner. The award is doted with 4000 US-$.
