Train-Driver’s Interface to the Collision Avoidance System
While the collision avoidance system’s onboard unit takes care of all the complex situation analysis, a human-machine-interface (HMI) is responsible for presenting the most relevant situation dependent information only to the driver. We offer different kinds of HMI to fit different operator requirements. The HMI can be as easy as just an acoustic and/or flashing light signal, or as comprehensive as a visualisation of all the trains in the vicinity with the track topology in the background.
The latest product is a multi-language all-in-one train driver interface named “Essential HMI”. Download the datasheet.
